Quiet Mind Living is living a life from a particular state of Mind. Meeting daily challenges and life dreams from the state of mind that its default is silence. In the Quiet Mind, there is no attachment to thinking, emotions, or desires. There is a continuous conscious choice of letting go of the content of the mind and experience of increased awareness.

Quiet Mind Living is a life strategy that comes with:

1. Emotional Awareness

When we quiet our busy minds we notice the inner discomfort we've been avoiding. When we no longer entertain thinking but stop for a moment we can see that often this thinking is just a distraction. Mind's way of protecting us from the emotional pain we carry. When we silence the mind our body has a chance to show us something and often it is grief, betrayal, sadness, angriness, abandonment, or any other painful emotion. Quiet Mind allows us to become aware of this deep suffering and by consciously choosing to be present with it, release it.

2. Self-awareness

When there is no longer thinking, the attachment to thinking fades away. When we no longer resist emotions, we allow them to move through us. In that state, we can see we are not what we think or what we feel. Who we truly are is beyond that. We experience thoughts and feelings but they don't define us. In the Quiet Mind, we become aware of who we truly are, beyond our story, identity, or desires.

3. Inner Peace

In Quiet Mind, there is no thinking. No thinking about past mistakes, no worrying about the future, no fixating about wants and don't wants, no regrets, no control, no planning, no judging just silence. Often all that thinking comes with an emotional charge. We can make ourselves feel anxious, sad, and guilty by a thought alone. If there is no thought, there is Peace. Unconditional Inner Peace.

4. Being Present

When we no longer entertain stories in our heads and allow ourselves to approach life from the Quiet Mind, from the state of silence and peace we then can be truly present with life. Present with what is a front of us. Be fully immersed in the experience of life. Rather than thinking about life, we get to live the life.

5. Acceptance

The secret to life is in accepting life. By silencing our thinking, and increasing our awareness of quietness we get to experience life as it is. Not as it should be or as we want it to be. But just as it is. When we are truly present with our life we can see its natural unfolding, its higher meaning, and the beauty of existence. We accept life and everything in it. Good and bad are just relative terms that no longer apply. Judgment falls away. Quiet Mind leads to accepting life, accepting yourself, and accepting others.

6. Letting go of desire

When we truly accept life there is no need to control or force things to change, we can let go. The things we desperately want, lose their attractiveness. In the Quiet Mind, we can see that the reason for our desires often comes from being wounded in the past. We grew up in poverty so we are determined to be millionaires, we were abandoned as children so we obsess about relationships, we grew up without parents so we want to be parents ourselves. But what if the wound was healed? The reason behind this desire would fade away. When there is no longer attachment to the desire we become open to life's mysteries and miracles. We become open to our true Heart's desire.

7. Intuition

In the Quiet Mind, we can hear the whispers of our Hearts. Our Hearts know what our Souls' desires are and how to get there. Quiet Mind becomes a doorway to insights, ideas, and guidance. Our intuitive senses become heightened. There is deeper knowing and trust in what is the next right step for us. Making decisions is no longer based on the mind's logical approach, but it is based on what feels right. We allow our minds to do the job they were designed to do, to receive the information, the guidance leading us to our unique Soul Path.

8. Soul Path

By continuously following our intuition we get to experience what we are truly passionate about. Step by step our unique path unfolds a front of us. What our Souls planned for our lives is more meaningful than our minds could ever imagine. It is clear to us that our life is not about getting what we want but allowing our Souls' desires to be created through us. More and more we become who we truly are. There is life’s map in our Hearts and when we quiet our minds we have access to this map. And it is our choice whether we walk the path or not.

9. Flow.

When we align ourselves with our Soul Path we experience the state of flow. Synchronicities become abundant in our lives and they show us the way. The way of no resistance. The way of allowing. The way of Surrender. The mind becomes an allay, when it is no longer obsessing about control it becomes a servant to our Hearts.

10. Surrender

Ultimately Quiet Mind Living is a path of Surrender. Letting go of attachment to thinking, feeling, and wanting. Surrender to the beauty of Life. Allowing our Lives to naturally unfold. We are like the seed of an apple tree that knows its path and trusts Nature's creation because it is part of it. So as we, we are part of Nature's creations.
